Therapy Focus and Services

There are several therapeutic paths which can be followed depending on your goals and the nature of problem you want to resolve.

It often happens that they merge or intertwine in the course of therapy.

The following will explain the therapeutic paths to help you navigate your decision.

If you are feeling unhappy, anxious, too focused on other people, held back by old insecurities or family patterns, disconnected from yourself, scared to pursue what you want or generally don't know what you want - this journey may be for you.

Over the last 13 years of my practice I developed a thorough and comprehensive therapy course which takes you through the main elements of your emotional and mental health. Each session of this course is focused on a particular element, e.g. self-trust, self-care, decision making, confidence, etc. In these sessions we deep dive into how this element is functioning in your life and what needs to be changed to improve it. The second part of each session goes under hypnosis. Here we focus on helping your system (mind & body) to let go of the unhelpful patters on a subconscious level.

After each session you get homework related to the specific changes discussed and the tools to practice these changes.

The purpose of this journey is to create fundamental habits of being an emotionally healthy adult. As a result you also learn to build and nurture the most important relationship in your life - the relationship with yourself.
By learning how to develop and nurture a good relationship with the person inside of us, we are transforming our ways of dealing with our life and other people.

Each session includes two parts: 60 minutes of counseling and 30 minutes of clinical hypnosis.

Psychosomatic Symptoms

Every person has a different capacity and mechanisms to deal with trauma, stress and strong emotions. Some people develop healthy mechanisms for processing events and recycling the emotional turmoil caused by them. In this case traumatic events can get digested allowing the person to progress forward.

However, in a number of circumstances the ability for processing stress and trauma may be hindered.

Circumstances leading to psychosomatic symptoms:

  • Lack of healthy emotional skills

  • Increased sensitivity

  • Prolonged stress and overwhelm

  • Emotional baggage (unprocessed events from the past), emotional waste

  • Unhelpful family patterns / behaviors

  • Toxic relationships

  • Abuse

  • Trauma, PTSD

The psychosomatic symptom comes as a compensatory / defense mechanism – a response of the body, mind and emotions to one or more of the above conditions.

Ways how psychosomatic issues manifest:

  • Compulsions

  • A strong physical response to a specific trigger or situation

  • A rush / candida, digestion system (bowl movements, nausea, constipation)

  • Allergies

  • Eating disorders

  • Strong anxiety / panic attack

  • Urges

Hypnosis allows to find and access the cause of a psychosomatic symptom and work to resolve it.

Therapy under Hypnosis helps to resolve the unwanted problem by working on 3 different levels: emotional, mental and behavioral. Hypnotherapy is helping the mind to work through the cause on the subconscious level. The counseling part helps to make changes on mental and behavioral levels – create a different perspective, acquire tools and change a behavioral response.

Continuous Client Support

Change is not linear. A lot of times it is accompanied by situations which trigger the old patterns and challenge the way we respond to them; by ups and downs; by painful events and realizations which show us where we need to do better.

Progress sometimes is masked by battling our own selves while choosing whether to act habitually or how it is truly good for us. We go through conflicting desires, resistance, relapses, and regressing into our comfort zones.

Other times the process of change is less bumpy, however we may need someone to help strengthen our confidence, course correct and keep our focus on our goals.

I support my clients through their journeys of change, growth and recovery. The purpose of my work is to help my clients to learn emotional and mental skills so they can achieve steady progress and become self-sufficient and confident adults.

As we work together through change, I offer an accepting and compassionate space, guidance, helpful tools and I’m always on your side.
