Julia Lyubchenko MS, MA, DCOSH

Life constantly diverts our attention from meeting the most important person in our life – our own self.

As a therapist I facilitate this process helping my clients to start one of the most important journeys of their lives – a journey to know and gain themselves.

I’m a convinced seeker of joy and happiness, constantly exploring what it means for each one of us. I believe that it is our own responsibility to create and nurture our discoveries. My therapeutic work is 100% geared towards this.

My career and experience - “not the years in my life, but life in my years”:

  • BA and MS in Child and Lifespan Psychology

  • Procter & Gamble, 8 years of successful HR manager career

  • Certification in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy

  • MA in Counseling Psychology and Marriage and Family Therapy

  • Psychiatric hospital internship

  • School psychologist internship

  • Certification in Clinical Hypnotherapy

  • Private practice since 2012

My Philosophy and Purpose:

In my world, we are all filled with infinite potential. My philosophy is to help each of my clients

tap into this valuable and unique resource and learn how to use it.

Applied psychology of the 20th century put a lot of focus on analyzing past events and traumas from childhood to explain our neurotic behaviors and suppressed emotions. This approach helps to create a better understanding of ourselves and our problems, however does not answer the question - how do we solve these problems and let go of old fears and dysfunctional patterns. Essentially – how to be happy in the present and leave behind the baggage of our past.

Traditional psychotherapy of the 20th century pragmatically suggested to go to a therapist for many years

so they can assist us in navigating through the hurdles of our life.

I passionately believe there is a better way.

Both of my postgraduate degrees in psychology gave me a lot of knowledge about the mind and psyche.

However, I couldn’t come to terms with the idea of spending so many years working with a therapist to find happiness (or at least feel better), as opposed to spending those same years enjoying my life.

It was during one of those days that I wandered into the office of a hypnotherapist and after 10 sessions a lot of the heavy issues which were poisoning my life for years had been released.

My life has been brightened up and my consciousness was awakened. My personal metamorphosis and curious mindset prompted me to look for an efficient way to help clients out of their misery, activating their inner potential.

This journey lead me to research and comprehend the outer and inner world. I spent a lot of time in Russia, Mexico, Europe and US. Observing the diversity of the outer world, I started to understand the mechanisms of the inner world. During seven years of my private practice I’ve learned to tune these mechanisms and synchronize them with the needs and goals of my clients.

The shift happens when we change the reference system:  FROM  “external environment defines my life, who I am and what I should do”…  TO  “I define myself, my goals, my values and how I want to live my life”.

This shift allows us to be our own reference point for everything. It enables us to live our lives based on our understanding of happiness and success.

When this switch is made, we get access to our infinite potential which irreversibly starts unfolding the life that we consciously choose.

I'm offering you my expertise in psychology and the human mind, rich experience in working with people from all walks of life and a set of tools to transform your life into a fulfilling experience.
